Just like my approach to research, my approach to teaching is motivated by an interest in the intersection of ethical and scientific questions and by a commitment to the value of attending to underrepresented voices in philosophical work. For the Winter 2024 term at LMU Munich, I will be teaching a “Values and Technology” course for undergraduates and a “Blame and Punishment” course for advanced undergraduates and masters students.

The courses I’ve taught as instructor of record for UC San Diego’s Philosophy Department include “Introduction to Philosophy: Ethics,” “Technology and Human Values,” and the nineteenth-century history of philosophy course “Philosophy Between Reason and Despair.” My experience as a philosophy teaching assistant at UC San Diego includes the courses “Introduction to Logic,” “Scientific Reasoning,” “Science, Society and Values,” “Contemporary Moral Issues,” “Ethics and Society,” and “Street Art, Video Games, Comics: Thinking About Popular Art.” I’ve also served as a teaching assistant for the Writing Sequence in the Humanities in Revelle College at UC San Diego.
